For two days beginning Oct. 28, citizens can experience the thrill of ski jumping in Seoul, thanks to a mini ski jump set up by the Korea Ski Association at the Lotte World Tower Plaza in the Songpa District of the capital. The ramp is 17m in length and 2.5m in height, and compliments a virtual reality (VR) experience zone and a ski equipment exhibition that are also being displayed. The ski jump will operate from noon-6pm and is open to anyone over six years of age with a foot size of less than 270cm. “Ski jumping was only possible at the Alpensia Ski Jump Center in Pyeongchang, Gangwon Province, but we set up this exhibition so that Seoul citizens can also have this experience,” the Korea Ski Association announced.
